Slovakia white wines use international varietals such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Riesling and Traminer (as Gewurz), for white wines. Sporadic plantings of the Austrian Gruner Veltliner, together with Muller - Thurgau are responsible for quite a lot of Czech whites.
