Saltram The Journal Shiraz has its origins from the first vines planted in the Barossa in 1859, William Salter meticulously  kept a journal to record his vineyard and winemaking activities, including techniques still used by Saltram today. The Journal Shiraz is a tribute to Salter's attention to details and his quest to make the best quality Shiraz under the Saltram name.

Bourne from the Eden Valley's Centenarian Schultz Vineyard, this powerful Shiraz has grace that befits the era of its original 1901 vineyard plantings. This Single Vineyard wine is classified as a Centenarian under the Barossa Old Vine Charter due to the vine age exceeding 100 years. A precious tribute to our rich Barossa history, and only made in the best of vintage.
